hello master.

I want to know which tournament has the greatest number of overrated players? I want to play an official tournament and get very high initial FIDE rating.

I think most of the time older players can be overrated because when time goes we start to play weaker, but if we did not play much games, then our level of play goes down faster than our rating. So we became overrated, we have better rating than our actual playing strenght.

How much should i study tactics per day if my objective is to become a 1600ish player?

I suggest you to study at least 30 minutes a day.

can you give advice on transition from opening to middle game. I often find it difficult to find or create advantages in this phase.

I think there is no clear border between the opening and the middlegame. In the opening you already have in mind your plans for the middlegame. When you develop a piece you should think where it will go forward when your other pieces finished the development, you should look in which side of the board you want to move up your pawns. If you keep it in mind, then you build up a position in the opening which will give you advantage in the middle game.

I am not the best chess player as you can see but often if i get to play against a 2000+ rated player in a long time control i often manage to win or draw with almost never any blunders but when i play a 1500- i get totally chrushed why?

Do you believe the Modern Defense is a good opening for someone who doesn't play very accurately? (Me)

Yes, I think the moder defense is good and one of its advantages is you can also play it well if you do not remember long variations, but remember the key ideas.

my rating is 1400 should i play agains someone 1600-1700 bcuz someone said to me then you play against stronger opponents your becoming stonger.

I think you are right to play against stronger opponents, but I think also important to play with not too strong ones, I think for a 1400 player, best to play with players in the 1450-1550 range.

Is it a realistic goal to become a titled player if you started playing seriously when you are 25 years old? Or is it too much unless you started young and have an exceptional talent?

If it is possible, how much time should I study per week to achieve this goal?

Motivation:i think the sky is the limit so if you practice every day there is noting you cant do never stop beleving in your self

realistic: get a coach ask him

Robert, attack can mean keeping up the pressure.  It is like surrounding an enemy post and cutting off its supplies.  You can then pick your time to launch the final assualt.  In chess those positions are relatively rare but they do occur more often than you would imagine.

There are attacks where you can attack statically (slowly) and those where you have to do something immediately (dynamic). Mr.Turzo only mentions the second, while the first one occurs quite often.
