Panno was in a dispute with the tournament organizers, and walked out forfeiting his game against Fischer.

Reti vs Bogulubov, New York 1924.

The final move of the game is one of the prettiest moves ever made... a line opening / line cutting tactic.

infamous game , as i heard tell oscar had prepared for two years for facing bobby , he studied 1 e4 by fischer all that time ,

bobby then played for the first time in his recorded games 1 c4

oscar walked away from the game , i was unaware he had issues with the tournament organisers though so that might explain him forfeiting

but when they did play it turned out to be a really good game , see prev fischer v panno , buenos aires 1970

Pretty famous game.... future world champion Spassky sacrifices a whole Knight just to get out of the positional bind imposed by Averbakh and then comes within an inch of winning

The Troinov-Popov game on page 1 was something I'd not seen before, and a really nice game! It doesn't even seem to be in Chessbase.
