Can Natalia watch a Tarkovsky film, and understand it?
Do you think Natalia Pogonina could beat?
Seriously, they both have FIDE ratings to compare, and both reached as high as IM.
Her, and Waitzkin ought to play a game on this site.
Josh waitzkin hasn't played chess in 10 years.
Read post #27.
is there a "campaign" against wgm pogonina?
.....just wondering
Actually, I was just wondering if she could beat Josh Waitzkin. How is that some kind of campaign?
Some of the questions clearly belong to the thread about Kramnik.
No, wait. In his case it's not interesting - Kramnik can do aything.

I'll take that to mean no.
Josh Waitzkin is a loser.
He showed early talent and was coached extensively by the best players/coaches in the world in order to try to become world champion. Fact is despite dedicating his life to it, he sucked horribly at the highest level. That's why he gave up.
I've nothing against the guy himself, but don't think he can or should talk about "the art of learning" when he can't do it himself. (yes I know there's learning in martial arts, but you have to admit a lot of it is physical, and if you don't think that then I seriously doubt you've ever been hit by someone).
I've made statements like that myself, but most on here don't believe it. They seem to think he's some kind of god because of his fame, I guess.
Regarding the possiblity of these two great chess players meeting, it is ridicules to assume one should pay the other for a match, Both in there own right would draw a crowed to watch. The people that posted here, you should pay them both to see this event take place, just like any sports event! On a side note, I would pay her one big bill to have my picture taken next to her, because she is so very attractive, and from Russia, with love. I just wonder if the Russian women compete for a Miss Russia and onto "Miss Universe", contest. They have a lot of beautiful women there, just ask James Bond!!!

Maybe they would fall in love over the chessboard.

They do, of course. The last time a Russian lady won the Miss Universe title was in 2002.

Whats with the pogonina threads lately? To answer the question, it would be a good match. Check this out.
