Pretty similar to what guys write about Carlsen nowadays..

Not even seen one write about it. If anyone did, they would be delusional.

That Carlsen style is not similar to Capablanca ? That he pummels dubious complications ?

Was more reffering to the title of the thread, but seems I misunderstood what you were talking about :o

Vishy is way past his prime and simply too old to play chess. He should have retired after losing his title. I like him, but he should understand that no one lives forever.

Hey, he didn't ask for another WC match (and million dollar pay day).  He just entered the candidates.  If someone else was supposed to be the challenger they should have done better than him.

Not only Anand but there are many top player like Kramnik, Ivanchuk disappointing performance these days.

Anand didn't even participated in recent Chess Olympic @ Norway.

Adams is in his 40s and he did very well at the Olympiad, though I know he's always tended to get ignored.

Superqueen500

Carlsen has been playing shitty lately

.

But shitty for him is still better than Anand's average performance.

Whwn someone rated around 1100 judges a ~2800 Rp as "shitty", then you know that there is no chance to have a reasonable conversation with him.

LMFAO

Oh yes. Poor Anand is so far past his prime he is only capable of beating everyone in the world except Carlsen. What a patzer.

bobyyy, who do YOU think will win? GM Vishy Anad or GM Magnus Carlsen

bulletplayer2004

why is capablanca invisible?

Don't get me wrong. I really like Vishy and will / would celebrate every game he wins against Carlsen. But as Kasparov and Einstein has said, people over 40 are unlikely to achieve much. They should concentrate on choosing the right coffin for themselves instead.

Look at Polgar. She is doing the right thing as she hears the grim reaper knocking on her door. Fading away is just the way of life, that does not mean that I don't have the greatest respect for Anand.

Although the odds favour Carlsen, but I think both players have 50/ 50 % winning chances, let us hope to see some wild games though....

It is seven of one and half dozen of the other.

I think everyone should simply play if they want to play. I don't think any master should feel an obligation to retire just because his/her strength is fading.

Anyways whatever the outcome let us cheer both great champions and hope they give us outstanding chess.
