Is it just me, or does the idea of putting a rating limit on posters to a thread seem both pretentious and ultimately self-defeating? For instance, a patzer like me sees this thread and finds it slightly ridiculous, nothing to waste time posting to. Then said patzer sees the little addendum telling him that he can't post because his rating isn't high enough and suddenly, out of the blue, he feels the urge to post. Funny how that happens...

Is using certain facial expressions during a match a good way to distract your opponent? I heard that psychology in chess is important. Not just to distract, but at what point during a game should one use it to paralyze your opponent? What types of facial expressions are the best and which ones for what purposes?
