FIDE cancelling an illegal move !!! Really !!??

Today I've heard , that official FIDE rules has been changed from beginning of this year.

I'm talking about OTB play and rules regarding BLITZ play only.

So normally during a blitz game if an illegal move has been made, it leads to an immediate loss of the game.

And just today I've heard, that FIDE changing the rules or changed it already, I'm not sure. Saying, that if an illegal move has been made it DOES NOT leads to an immediate loss, but instead just time penaltie (similar to the classic time control, which doesn't lead to an immediate loss after an illegal move has been made).

Does anyone know anything about it?

I prefer the rule that no one says check, and that if someone steps into check, their opponent may simply capture their king. But if they don't see it, the game goes on.

This is a good rule. Now I can checkmate my opponent illegally and win the game. They'll get one minute on their clock, but I win since they're in checkmate.

Not really the case with an increment, 50/50 I would say

Guess we would need to find a new world champion then.

I could go along with this if the time penalty is time removed not from the player's clock, but from the player's life.

I just read that, its the worst rule ever, what is FIDE thinking? adding 2 minutes if he plays an illegal move, thats why some champions want to do a different organization from FIDE, if I am not wrong Kasparov was one of them, I want to be FIDE president, I dont know if this is true but I think that job was between Kasparov (one of the best chess players in history, maybe the best, someone who knew all about chess) and another random guy, yes, the random guy won the job, ridiculous, just like that new rule
