Free Chess pieces and no Board

Foot in mouth I hope this is not the case. When first signing up online  on this site, the chess puzzle  and online  board would display with no problem. Now ,however, as I also posted in forum under help and support the board does not display. I have not received a solution to the problem and a week has passed. I hope this problem has not appeared cause I am a free chess.com member that has not upgraded to a paying member status. Money mouth

seeing the board and pieces is NOT a paid feature (hahahahahaha!). i suggest you reinstall firefox ( http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ ).  otherwise, i'm not sure what you have installed on your computer that would be affecting your browser.

I have win xp sp2 with  latest  java and java script installed ,a reinstalled ie7  and firefox browser. Also an updated chessDB and SCID bases. The little chesspartner works fine just this web page for online and live has the missing board. all other free chess pages show board with no problem. How do I reinstall the chess.com webpage? That is something I can not do on my part ,cause I do not own it or developed it nor is founderEmbarassedInnocent I repeatedly done those suggestions Eric plus used database to use as a temporary board but it is no good for live for there is no download pgn option.

Cool Problem solved- in winxp go to control panel open accessibilty options ,choose display tab, remove check mark in Use High Contrast: board will display and also text color will be available in posting messages.
