Fritz 11; is it useful for improvement?

Can Fritz 11 help 1600-1800 rated players improve? Also how might I best utilize it's functions?

to improve u have to understand and learn ideas.

Program like  fritz just show moves (not giving a reason why, the evaluation doesnt give ideas), not ideas, so i think it is useless...

yes i know every move must have an idea behind it. i plays slow games i.e. 3-day 5-day better in order to think properly with ease n time. for example , French Def. is semi closed game. one must know the problem of light colored bishop and the basic theme , especially in advance variation.
