Game aborted on move 53?

Hey everyone-

I was in a game where I was low on time but winning on material. On move 53 the game was aborted without warning. What's going on? I've never seen this before.

I’ve just had a game I was about to win aborted, so if a player is sure to lose all they have to do is abort and have the game void? It doesn’t show I played the person....so my score stays as it was

I don't think you used to be able to do that.

I don't think the game is saved if it was aborted though.

Wasn't there a server restart around one and a half hours ago? In that situation, all games, regardless of how winning or losing you are, will be forfeited and that game will count as non-existent.

This was not a server restart. There was no warning of a server restart, and immediately after I was still online.

Were you playing in a tournament? Cause whenever the tournament clock reaches 0:00 sec, all the games being played within get aborted

Server may have crashed.

Was thinking there was a server restart because I could not go into Live five hours ago. Seems like it may have crashed.

There are other topics about it, so if there wasn't a restart notice it was either an emergency restart or crash.

Just happened to me after a rematch i was winning on move 13 and game aborted is this a new hack or server issues?
