My sad experience chess

I've lost horribly in a tournament as well. It's how chess is though - you will lose many many games as you improve.
I'd recommend taking this next tournament for fun, and just play your best but don't feel that any real pressure is on you - its definitely not.

This may help but it may not apply to you.

Are there different divisions in your tournament?
My son recently started tournament play, and there are divisions based on his USCF rating and age at the tournaments. He started in the U500/unrated division which helped with confidence (and also because of his new rating). If he had started in the open class, he probably wouldn't have won any games.
Also, in the US, there are quad formats for kids where they match you up with others of nearly same rating. This allows anybody a good chance of winning some games. Does your country's chess tournaments offer something like this?
So, here's what I think: perhaps look at changing your opponents instead of your play at this time.
Anyway, good luck on your next fun-filled event. (My son really enjoys playing in tournaments; they give out a ton of trophies, so far, he's gotten one at every tournament. It's both a good thing and a bad thing.)
just keep practicing and slow down. also take a break from chess. too much chess can mess up your focus. I went to a Cajun tournament and I won only one game (it was 5 rounds with a one point bye) my first tournament I won only twice with three loses
