With years in prison they might reoffend.
Electric chair should be the only acceptable punishment.
Well said my friend
Due process people!....execution without due process is highly condemned by the international chess federation. Chess law should include that 3 consecutive refusal of rematch from any losing opponent should and only then capital punishment be implemented by the guilty player...that should be fair. Lol.
I think a rematch is so important that even a LAW should be made.
NO REMATCH = 15-20 years in prison. It doesn't matter if it's your fault or not, rematch is MANDATORY.
p.s.: if your mother is dying, she will die ALONE because you HAVE to give a rematch.
REMATCH is more important that EVERYTHING!!!!
Please stop complaining geez...
Suppose someone doesn't decline the rematch, but doesn't accept it either, choosing instead to play a new game, and the mandatory rematch. And then a new game.
What is the player who offered a rematch to do? He can't withdraw the challenge, because that would put HIM in prison (given your law).
If he leaves the computer and the challenge is accepted, his game will be abandoned on move 1 - and counted as if it never existed!
Due to the difficult situation he could be put in, perhaps neither player will offer a rematch, but that puts them BOTH in prison.
This will result in a mass decrease of chess games - as nobody is willing to risk hours (perhaps years) of their life.
Chess.com will become inactive, eventually becoming a site where only close friends play each other - removing nearly all the ad revenue, resulting in a shutdown of the site.
Thus, creation of this law will destroy Chess.com as you know it.
You have been warned.
@VicountVonJames...at 1000 executions per day = 365,000 per year. At 22 million plus members, that's still 60 plus years of chess survival not counting new members that could be unaware of the law and executed within weeks. Chess lives! Haha.
people say this a lot to me but I will say it to all you rematch supporting law people
Get a life! (no offence)

Please, you are 1000 rated... I didn't even knew this rating even exists... who would want a rematch (or match) with such a mega-low rated player???
That's ratist!
If you're forced to accept a rematch, you need to rematch a rematch that rematches a rematch etc.
This would just mean that you're grounded for life for chess.
That would mean that people will either no longer play on chess.com, or just don't accept the rematch and go to prison.

good riddance mate.
I hate adopting this thread. The original OP got banned so now it looks like I have to accept my fate and sit in the electric chair.
