If any of you follow my blog, you know I play tournaments quite a bit and write about them. 

My siblings and I are trying to go to the Texas State Scholastic Championships going on from March 9-11. This will be an expensive endeavor, and I am writing to notify all of my followers that we are doing this, and will be accepting donations.

If you want to request your followers to support you, you can do that through a blog. Funding requests in the forums are not usually allowed unless you get staff permission.
