this is not a smart question, it is a making fun question, and power to people you posted a very long topic, this was not smart too as well, like what I am going to do in one of your own recent topic, I will just copy and paste the longest topic the post space could handle and I will paste it in one of your own thread, just to underestimated your own forum (what ever it is) to make it look bad...

The < symbol is to blame, try not to use it, or to leave empty spaces next to it (if I remember the solution correctly)

I've had it happen and I think that some of the formatting is getting copied and depending on where you paste it in, it gets placed in its own div or span, which gets different formatting than the surrounding text.
It mostly happens to me when pasting into quotes though.
