From what I'm understanding they play in the same room but on computers. So they'll physically be in the same place but still playing online.

And it WILL get a lot of attention because it's the final 4 of the best online blitz players in the world but more importantly it's Magnus vs Hans with all the drama surrounding it.

Tomorrow's the big match. The schedule says Magnus and Hans play at 1130 pdt so I'm figuring that's 230 eastern U.S. time, am I right about that? I can't miss watching this match, it's like the superbowl or watching Duke in the ncaa tournament for me.

Yeehaaa. Of course I think The Magster will win and I'm predicting about a 70% to 30% score but if Hans can score 40% I think it'll be a big success for him.

The last interview I saw of Magnus talking about the matchup he sounded like he was going to play, he gave no hint of backing out of the match. He said something like if he plays well he should win.

Nobody has provided ANY PROOF that Hans cheated, or how, in that OTB game though...

But I'm sure it all makes for good box office. They could probably have sold twice the amount of tickets for this match!

I'd really love to be there live but the online coverage will probably be good too. I'm really interested in the pre match stuff going on. Any hateful looks? Handshake maybe? Will they avoid each other completely? After the match, etc. All that stuff.

The venue is sold out and it's limited by fire safety rules, so no they couldn't have sold even one more ticket.

Update on the Hans and Magnus drama.

Apparently Magnus made a peace offering and invited Hans to a tournament that Magnus is involved in. It seems Hans is likely to participate in it and has indicated it's best to put the past behind and move on. That's good. But the Hikaru and Hans drama lives on!! They ain't putting anything in the past, the hatred and sht talking continues. I'd bet on Hans in a fight between Hans and Hikaru. I wanna see a cage match between them. Hahahaha

I noticed Magnus called everyone by their firstname, except for Hans.

There's probably still a bit of uncomfortable feelings all around but Magnus seems to be trying to extend an olive branch. Even Danny was polite on air at the final 4 in Paris and even said Hans will definitely be invited to next years SCC. Hans vented and let his opinion be known and he sounds like he's willing to put it all to rest. But as for Hikaru and Hans, I think a bare knuckle cage match would solve all that drama.
