Has a game ever been played twice?

A game presented by Emanuel Lasker in Common Sense in Chess and appearing in Eric Rosen's instructive video and Lichess study on the Stafford Gambit appears no less than eight times in my game history.

Realized i've played this game much more than i want to Seems to be not too uncommon when the opponent is <=1600

One thing I just don't get is the number of people who don't know how to play vs alapin, they go something like Nc6 and give me the center. It's incredible that my opponents never go d5 or Nf6
I always play d5 against the Alapin, but I think I should do some work to see if there are alternatives.

Playing the delayed alapin is a bit easier against d5.

This 19 move tournament game from 1997 is 100% Greco. https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1334101
I've played the same game on this website. Maybe more than once.

fr, tl;dr, wanted a short_quach version

@long_quach, I hope this doesn't offend you, but I don't feel like @GYG's criticism was reportable, nor do I think that one should be averse to receiving any kind of negative feedback. I'm not just saying this bc i agree with @GYG.

Story time.
okay. please stop.....at this point you're just hijacking the thread
I remember you as the guy who made a thread about the Indian origins of Chinese chess....I agreed with some of your points but i stopped following the thread because it became a monologue rather than an actual conversation.....i hope you'll give some thought and consideration to the fact that other people read the thread, and not just you.
