Has anyone else had success in bullet by giving up their right to castle?

So lately when playing bullet I've found that if you do a queen trade in the opening and retake with your king you can then build a little secure spot in the center and get in to a relatively even position in the middle game but with your opponent down on time because they've been trying to figure out how to exploit your initial weakened position. Has anyone else tried doing
this? I feel like I've gotten a positive win rate with this strategy.
