It's so tiny and it was at my threshold when I opened the door.
Help !...I caught a babybird !...what do I do ?
hiho. Brave of you to try to help. I regret my whole life not helping one I saw once.
Do you recognize it at all? Take a picture and post here or on reddit and it will be easier to find what birdie it is. Is it flopping its wings as if it can't fly (baby) or is it choppy as if its wounded?
It's fiddly but if you know how to sew and have good motoric skills you can look for on youtube how to mend a birds wing.
Birds eat seeds and drink water, berries work too. Put a little sugar in the water if you want. Good luck if your for real!

Oh....I'm for real. It's legs look kinda spraddled. Otherwise, I think it maybe just got kicked outta the nest today (sparrow ?). But why would it just let me walk up and grab it ?
It's doing this tweet every 3 seconds and it's starting to drive me crazy....after an hour. I put some crushed dry corn and water in the box it's in.

Maybe I'll give keep it inside for one day & release it back out in the morning.
What do you think ?

If its extremely young you need to make a mush it can't eat normal food or drip feed it. It's gonna be a huge effort.
It probably wont survive, find the nest or chop its head off instead.

Very funny NM Reb. Very funny.
YKW ? If I ever see you at a tournament ?....You'll know it's me 'cuz I'll be the one that walks up & slaps you across your face....

It must be some sign from above.
More realistically, you'd better have a *lot* of food and water on hand if you plan to keep it. One young lady college student told me she found an injured baby squirrel that she took in, but one day she had a long school exam so she couldn't feed it on time that day, and it had died of starvation by the time she got back home.
What do I do with this bird ?
