H3 Pro on a 32 core processor and standard time controls, would smash them. Absolutely smash them.
HOULDINI 3 vs 3 GMs FISHER KASPAROV and CARLSEN

You missed the best player of all times - Anatoly Karpov. Only he could challange the modern programs as he is the best calculator in the history of chess.

You people don't even understand what it means to have an Elo of 3334...
Karpov would be whipped good, with his puny rating of 2780. (still, lots of respect for him!)

I'm pretty sure engines can only compare to eachother with that rating.

Yes, I'm sure you're right. But that fact doesn't invalidate the extremely wide gap between its strength compared to any human being. Houdini will never blunder, has a perfect memory and never tires out. It's frankly unbeatable.

While I agree about the strength of the engine, the 3334 rating doesn't equate to human players. It's a different thing all together.

if houdini never blunders, why does it also lose games, i just imagine it already lost at least one game against another engine.

God, another Tetsuo loves Fischer thread. Like there aren't enough of these.
This was going to lead to some interesting points of view, I'm sure. Now, I just don't care any more.
If I wanted to see 36 pages of 'I love Fischer' posts from this guy, I'd search, 'Unnatural infatuation' in the forums.

it didn't reach that level to be honest, in CCRL40/40 it is rated "only" 3250, and 3320 in blitz 40/4
Okay, I just typed 'houdini 3 rating' into Google and that was the first number that jumped at me (from a Wiki article). But still, a >400-point -difference between it and the next contender, which would be MC, is huge! And as others wrote: You can't really compare computer engines with people, which I can comprehend.
So, my answer remains No, not even Fischer could exploit the infinitesimaly small flaws of Houdini, if it even might have any.

It doesnt seem impossible to beat Houdini. http://www.chess.com/forum/view/game-analysis/pfren-check-this-game-out
Of course, if you mean OTB, I will side with Houdini 3.
Anyways, whenever the four players get to a critical position, there will be a huge argument between the players.
Karpov and Carlsen will want a quiet positional continuation.
Kasparov will want some crazy sacrificial line.
Fischer would choose a solid attacking move.

so you really complain i talk about Fischer in a thread that has Fischer in its title. Im so sorry i did the unthinkable.

Well, to be fair, it says "Houldini" and "Fisher" in the OP, so maybe we're all totally off-topic at the moment.

The OP is about Houdini vs all 3 of the players mentioned together. You've completely disregarded half of the question in order to praise Fischer. So yes, Fischer is in the title, but the question is not 'Could Fischer beat Houdini'. Your just turning it into, yet another, Fischer fan club thread whilst ignoring the question.

i answered it, i said i think Fischer would win and if i dont mention the others, because i think they wouldnt.

The question is about all three of them on a team. Not individually.
Houldini at its best vs these 3 grandmasters all in there prime in a 6 match up agaisnt this incredible engine.. Who would win?
