My elo is 400, but I beat all of the beginner levels and almost all the intermediate levels but it just keeps being 400. How can I fix It

Bot games are not rated

My rating just hit 2000. =(

And I find 1800 plus players hard already, and want to play more leisurely and not competitively.

On a side note, does chess.com allow unrated matches?

Just switch it to casual and challenge ppl or start a game on casual until sum1 clicks it

I currently sit at 1300 rapid and it was a grind to get there. I decided to test out what would happen if I pressed advanced and set up a new account. My second account is 1750 and I can play the rapid games there very comfortably with right at the same win rate. I really do feel that 1100 to 1800 is really just all the same. Depends on where you were placed. You truly have to be around 1850 to pull out of the "middle range" of Elo. But, it's just a number folks. I'm not a GM.

You can’t, or at least I don’t think so lol

My Elo is less than 200, but I am better at chess than that. I lost most of my Blitz rating in the arenas.

delete your account and start new one

Just play actual players or try to make a new account and play from there

Go to custom then unselect rated, ez.

Hi all.

The question says it all.

Why? Because I think most of my wins are out of luck and still have much to learn in the middle game.

Thanks!

No one is going to give you a real answer. Just stupid politically correct answers. The answer is simple, and there really is only one. Go to protonmail or mail2home, get you another few email addresses, and get another chess.com account or two. Start over.

I'm finding the elo rating to be broken in lower tiers. I have two accounts in one I'm playing 850+ and steadily climbing to 900. In this account I cannot get over 200. The people I'm facing in lower tiers are FAR more difficult than the ones I'm facing in higher tiers. 200 is low low and the people I'm facing are far from "beginners"
