If it wasnt for chess I probably would have had kids and a wife, or ex-wife.

Omg😹😹und jetzt?😹

I am now living a sad life, knowing I did not win the game of life because my seed will not be spread. It amazes me how Darwin analyzed my situation 200 years ago.

It's not too late to have family. Considering Foreign Bride from Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand?

Or from Ukraine.

Chess has not, as a matter of fact, ruined my life, not in the slightest manner.

some of us are perfectly capable of ruining our own lives without chess.

Yep, that is what passed for entertainment back when I was young. The Banana Splits were almost as painful to listen to as was the theme song to the Bugaloos.

In Reality

Chess > Smoking > Alcohol

However

Chess + Smoking + Alcohol = SOS

It's always inspiring to read stories of how chess helped people turn their life around.

Chess is like the river of fire in Tartarus: it’s painful but it keeps me alive.

Einstein disliked the competitive aspect of chess, but that is not to say, that he abhorred the game at heart. In fact, Einstein was a reasonably good chess player, and we can infer this from a game he played against Oppenheimer.

Chess ruined GM Agdeistein. He could have been a professional soccer player earning millions annually. As GM, he is earning less than a million yearly.

Chess is for Nerds! What am I doing here in chess.com?
