I beat GM Matthew Turner in a FIDE-rated blitz game a couple of weeks ago. It's not the same as long play of course, but it's the first time I've beaten a GM in any kind of official rated match.

you can play a GM in correspondence game

and then use a computer because it is legal

Not likely to be able to play a grandmaster in correspondence chess as you need a very high rating to be in the same league as them.

[just the same in over the board chess unless it is a simul or something]
