There's a hierarchy of hints, right? Usually at least a couple of hints per lesson and then you can highlight the correct square or the correct piece. Obviously you don't want to do that until you've almost given up on the puzzle, but it gives you another option besides showing the answer. I hope that's what you're talking about and not some newly implemented "improvement". Oh, maybe you're playing on one of the mobile apps...

Yeah. It happens with me as well! Hence, I do the lessons on my PC.
when I do a lesson the square I am supposed to move to is highlighted.all I have to do is move the right piece.
