How long have you been playing chess?

Since February of this year. I realized I had a chess.com account I made a few years ago but never used and I wanted to learn after watching the queens gambit and got the premium membership. 

I'm enjoying the lessons(I'm almost done just have advanced left to go) and I'm reading through the Everyman chess series by Yasser Seriawan. I have still yet to play a real game though but I'm enjoying learning the fundamentals.

I learned how when I was 12.  I'm not very good ate it, though.  I am now 50 but still play like a 12 year old!
