How much chess games do you play per day?

Just being curious.

Usually, I have three games going and I will check them twice a day, minimum. Sometimes I will check them as much as 5 or 6 times a day, depending on my schedule. I have found that more than three is too much of a distraction.

For a beginner/intermidiate player after reaching for example ~2 000 blitz games, it's importhant to stop/slow down. You no longer need more games to experiment. Start to study and play longer time controls. I see many accounts with 15 000 - 35 000 games or even more , they play for years and are at the same low level as they were 3 years ago. Those players don't improve but continue to play bullet and blitz.

I play about 3-5 games a week, divided equally between 45/45, 30/0, and 5/2.

1-2 games ...15|10 per day.

20-30 .... Tactics Trainer per day

2-3 (or more if i've time).... endgames lessons per day (sometime i've some difficult to understand the correct king moviments in endgame)

How many woods could a woodchuck check if a woodchuck could checkmate woods?

I don't know: I'm at a loss for woods.

Will you try to set a long-term goal of upping that to .15 of a game by the end of the year?
