How NOT to end a game

I played this 5/0 game.  I  made some minor errors in judgment, but my opponent made more and had an entirely lost game . . . and I would have mated him, really! . . . but resigned instead . . . when my finger slipped on the last move.

Fine, except the slipping finger...

Anyway...fun...

That happened to me before as well. Just one difference. I was losing but wasn't ready to give up. Just try to put it out of your mind and watch where you click your mouse.Smile

At move 22, Ne7 would have won for you (wins a Q for a N).  I suppose 5/0 is all about the missed opportunities....

Actually, I had forced mate (by not trading the Q for a N but by simply protecting c2 with Rg2 ), but didn't see it either.
