Bullet will probably boil down to who can hang less pieces and move faster, however positional chess can be a plus on your curriculum

I think chess.com allowing people to create 1800 accounts is ok. Sure, you can have a pretty 1800 number in your profile even if you are a -500 patzer, but most people will just look at your game archive and see you havent played any games, which means your rating should not be trusted.
