how to get the most out of master games

Master game study is a very important part of development.

However without good annotations

i find i am lost and get quickly bored. therefore finding little value.

The best book I explored was How good is your chess

it offered a lot of helpful insights.

I would really love to go through Fischer games

but find just playing through them is not really helping much.

any thoughts?
