i will usually mute opponent if there is too much chat
sometimes- as in the opponent who would emoji after ever move (his and mine) i just resign, block, and get the hell out of there
and then i will usually block anyone who was annoying in some fashion
so, yes, in a way op is correct- spam an opponent into a ragequit "horray"
eventually run out of people to play "oy vey"
