How was this a draw?

Heyy, I wouldn't say I'm new to chess, but I have never actually read the rules, so that's why I'm kinda stunned. How can this be declared a draw? I just don't get it

This is a draw by stalemate.  Stalemate occurs when it is a player's turn, that player has no legal moves, and their king is not in check.

In your position, note how it is Black to move, but Black can't actually play anything!  He's not in check, and every move is illegal since it would put him in check.  Therefore, draw by stalemate.
