I see only one big mouth.....
Huh, huh, now I know why this site has worthless chess

During my last game it showed that there were about 7,000 players online, but the site alleges to have 3.6 million members. Aside from the trolls here, it looks like not a lot of chess gets played. No wonder a hack like me can get over 1600 in no time at all. I was hoping for some good chess and all I found were a bunch of big mouths.

Welcome.

You have played how many games? looks like zero to me. Yeah, I can see why you'd think there was no good chess to be had here after that much experience.

Several points, Tank:
a) The 3.6 million members refers to ALL those who have opened an account here. There is no reason to expect in any manner that ALL those should be logged in simultaneously. No chess site's servers could handle that if such an attempt would be made.
b) This is the Internet: trolls are everywhere.
c) Can't tell if you're a hack yet ... too few games.
d) There are plenty here who can likely give you "a good game" ... open the Players tab and pick one from the first couple of pages.
Have fun.

all I found were a bunch of big mouths.
Damn, there goes another irony meter! And this was a brand new, fresh out of the box, heavy duty irony meter, too!

Out of the last ten games, you only won one. I'd say if you came looking for "good chess", you got it.
Yeah, I found a few players who can give me a game. Big deal. But you only got 6200 people online out of 3.6 million accounts and only 2000 of the 6,000 are playing chess, the rest are trolls like you monkeys.

I long for the days when Trolls used to be subtle and tried to lure people into a real conversation before pulling a bait and switch that caused everything to explode. It was much more entertaining.
Guys like you, Tank, they take all the fun out of what used to be a fine art form of social engineering.
