Identify your weak areas, find adequate study material and work hard.

I'd recommend you the book "How to study chess on your own" by GM Kuljasevic. The book gives some good insights how to study chess efficient and effective. After reading that book you will be able to make a study plan that fits your needs.

Tactics can take you up to some level then plateau. Opening Theory, Endgame Knowledge and Middle game strategy separate the IMs and GMs from FMs,  and CMs

10k puzzles correct would be really easy, but it would take forever.
