I would buy one right now If the personal opening stats was working. I would just find it to interesting to resist, esp along with the other good features
I cancelled my premium membership

Deal with it :P
It doesn't look cancelled to me.
It waits until the end of the subscription period, which is fine with me :D

Sorry Vulpes_Vulpes, but you're no fun at all. Where's the manic rant, the name calling, the accusations of cheating, the taunting, the name of your new and supposedly better chess site? Where's the entertainment value?

I have nothing to complain about. I just don't want to waste money on a site I have less and less time for.

I'm waiting for bughouse...if chess.com adds bughouse with V3 I'll go diamond, no problem.
Hear that chess.com?

Just get a title and free membership :P
Why didn't I think of that?
I've thought of that. It just seems that the higher rated players just don't let me beat them (and sometime the lower rated players have the temerity to not let me win either ).

...where is the like button

Deal with it :P
A friend of mine....whom I can't name cos he is shy.... is asking how to go about this.
His membership runs out next June/July.
I'd be grateful if u could let me ... i mean... him know.

My premium runs out in a few days and I'm not going to extend it.
Here is why:
To few good chess videos. Not just some, but MOST are pathetic. I am not paying to see lazy chess masters who turn on the camera while analyzing their own games (which they have to do anyway). I want to see lectures, something I can learn from! A seriously, those recordings from "life sessions" of games on chess.com? Pffft, this has nothing to do with chess anymore :/
The opening books are useless. There is no added value at all. It's hard to find an opening - it seems to be filled with public/old databases that run out after a few movies. What I expect when I explore an opening on the worlds *dedicated* chess site that as the only one has the name 'chess' is a tool that allows you do a *LOT* more than just click on very long, flat lists of moves. You can get that everywhere.
The tournament announcements are pure horror - for so long that also here it's clear that the management isn't willing to improve (the site). EVERY message you get has the same title. If you open them it's some tournament, sure - you have to click AGAIN to find out that it isn't even in your rating range?! What wrong with adding the rating range in the title so I can ignore it right away? Hell, why send tournament invites to people aren't allowed to join it in the first place?! Pure laziness, again.
Replying to the tactics trainer... if you want to add a diagram with an analysis - then be prepared to have to manually type in a FEN notation... There used to be a way to copy that from the screen with your mouse, but even that isn't possible anymore. The "analysis" are just some list of moves with a computer evaluation that doesn't follow interesting paths in 80% of the cases. Worse though, there are soooo many problems out there that stop too early or don't follow the most interesting path themselves because apparently "but then more than one move is possible". SO WHAT? FIX YOUR SITE! Why not fix this and allow multiple answers / multiple paths when they are OK? You can give +15 for the best and +10 for an OK one that isn't the best. And then there are that DO continue and punsish you with -10 when you give forced mate in 3 instead of in 2. Ridiculous.
I could go on... Seriously, this site gives me a cheap feeling. One of laziness. There are a million improvements possible but they just aren't interested to improve - apparently happy with the money that comes in, but not willing to spend more than 20 minutes per month to make a video and for the rest no time at all...
I'm going to look for a site that actually has a heart for chess and wants to deliver the best.
Deal with it :P
