I Don't See the Point of the Touch-Move Rule

Supspicious of what? A question? I could see a bunch of noobs asking that question. Its not a troll question. Why bash the guy? Just answer or don't answer the question, and just move on. 

if you had actualy read the posts her, you would see that there is no debating if the rules to be changed, but one guy new to the site asking why they are as they are.

Duh....is a family forum for chess. People new to chess are always going to ask questions because they may be new the game. The sense of entitlement because of one being a long term member to bash on new members is backwards thinking.

Ok.....so what part of the op's question did you find suspicious that he deserved to get bashed? No part of question didn't appears to be part of banned members, closed accounts, troublemakers, proxy servers,general truble makers. 

                      If the OP was serious about questioning a rule, a ticket to staff would have done the trick. A private message to someone would have also worked. But the OP, and you Jasias are non=paying members, and after 40 post, you still haven't answered a simple question. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING?    May I suggest using the services of chessKid.com unless of course kaynight is right, and you just came here to argue.

You don't get it....He obviously knew the rule, ergo, why he ask a quesion about it. He was asking the logic behind the rule. You're so quick to bash, you don't think first.

Its a family forum....are you suggeting that this can't be a friendly forum for new people learning about chess or of older people just wanted to start a new topic that may interest them? 

                        Based on your ratings, I don't think it matters which piece you touch. If you were un-rated, we'd probably approach this thread differently.

I been playing for 25 years, what does it matter? Are you the chess police? Do you want my ID, so you can check me for chess fraud?

when im playing OTB, i like to adjust my opponents pieces after every move they make.

it really gets on their nerves and theres no proof im doing it to piss them off, which i really am hehehe 

because it would become a game of bluff, and look like poker

We have had quite a lot of new members come onto the forums and do a double act before. When you've been here a while longer you will understand. As you're a new member, I suggest you try not to burn your bridges with long standing members on this site.

Providing it was asked for, in good faith. You may have played for 25 yrs, but you've been here for a whole month and a half. Are we the chess police. YES WE ARE. Seem to me, that many of long term members are more intrested in bashing people rather then being helpful. Nothing I said was disrespectful in any way.  This is why I keep my post to a limit. If all you want to do is show hate to people who ask simple quetions, feel free. I just won't be part of it.
