Best thing is not to get distracted by the rating, but to use it as a tool to improve.
Tactics trainer is simply a learning tool, not to be feared. Use it with the mind of sharpening your game. Persevere in achieving your goals.
tactics trainer is not important. you can use it as a way to warm up your fingers and mouse before a bullet session. i mean those problems are taken out of games played by other people and you are not supposed to know what was their plan. so tactics trainer is not useful

Well I have to confess that I am starting get scared when in 2100-2200 I see something simple. For example a position were there is a trap to win material but also there are potential for a mating net. After the first minute I don't find a winning variation then i relaxed go for the trap...when Suddenly I realize that I missed something and there I start calculate again....Yupi!! I found the mating line. I play the first move but the computer plays a different move than I was expected!! What a hell?? Then it's about time to be scared off...
