Very well then...
I FINALLY BEAT NELSON

Yeah I do that too when he is being annoying. I noticed when I get him to retreat his Queen, he will usually trade if I offer to trade Queens immediately following. After that he is a bit more manageable. It is so annoying though playing against an aggro queen. It feels disrespectful lol.

Some bots are annoying. For instance, Isabel is annoying, but Li isn't. Nelson is annoying but Wally isn't. One way to play against Nelson is to go 1.e6. Eventually offering a trade of queens gets you a comfortable middlegame and a decent endgame. You can't play a regular French against that deranged bot, but you can develop very simply by remaining compact and gaining a lot of development advantage. For instance, you can take a look at this relatively "clean game" I just played.
Once you get rid of the queen, Nelson is just meh...

Well done! That game looked a bit similar to the games I had with Nelson as I started to get closer to winning haha. Very compact moves. Helped show the value of beginner chess advice - control middle, develop pieces, castle early, etc. Definitely helped against Nelson.

Took me FOREVER. But I finally did it. I got pretty frustrated but kept at it. Without looking online for help.
Good job.
I can now destroy him, but it was a different story a couple of months ago.

He opened with the kings pawn so i played the Scandinavian defense and traded queens on the 6th move
No joke, I have probably lost to Nelson and his Queen's play over 100 times in the past month trying to beat him. I usually play pretty quickly so I know that causes me to make more blunders than if I took my time but I finally figured him out. It made me a lot better in my normal games too. No more getting bullied by an annoying Queen!
