i just lost 8 games in a row. seriously considering deleting my account

That eight game losing streak is just a statiscal anomoly. You have a distinguished profile with a thousand games and trophies. Don't get discouraged. Your account is respectable and holds promise.
Penguin. Hang in there buddy. We shall see.

I have lost about 15 games in a row if I remember correctly. When you are having a losing streak, it's either you take a break or enjoy the losses.
Don't worry you will bounce back with winning streak soon.

Got back into chess a while ago and was playing Bullet lost my first 2 games and thought I would lose more. Everyone needs a break. I took a break and started winning. If you are losing a big amount of games and rating just relax take a break and do something else that’s productive, and when you’re ready get back into it. Everyone has bad days.

Thanks for letting us know this most important piece of news.
But why so serious? It's a game.
Again thanks. But it seems like you're here just to talk.

Just tell yourself how much of a moron you are when you lose. Then feel so smart when you win. But forget about the outcome of your last game within 30 seconds.
its no fair play. how do i delete my account?

If eight losses in a row has you thinking seriously about quitting chess, then perhaps you are right... perhaps your personality or your ego are too fragile for this game.
Chess is not a game for limp-wristed half-hearted cookie-pushers. It is a game for knuckle-dragging, hairy-backed MEN. You need to be psychologically capable of falling FLAT on your face, crushed like a bug by some clever-dick kid a third your age, and then picking yourself up, regaining your mental equilibrium, and sitting down for the NEXT game.
Which you must play at FULL strength. Not tilt.
I personally lost THOUSANDS of games before I really started getting half-decent at the game.
*Snip* Chess is not a game for limp-wristed half-hearted cookie-pushers. *Snip*
But I like cookies
One out of three. Are you limp-wristed? Half-hearted?
I did have have a temporary limp in a past life if that counts. Was also told I don't have a heart
