"Even an expert"? lol  Anyone still mired in the Fried Liver doesn't need to aim nearly so high.

"mired "  The perfect word for this...

Especially if one wants to be demeaning. It's reasonable to advise against seeking GM help, but what purpose is served by further comment?

Precisely this:  this guy doesn't need a GM's help and he's just wasting that guy's time (and his money) by making such an investment.

Autobunny also does not want to identify a purpose for further comment?

Perfection is to stonewall on a question?

So no alternative to “demeaning” is being offered?

Honestly, given your rating, you could probably benefit a great deal from even having an expert or master teach you.  Having a GM teach you might be a lot like having my university's math professor teaching my 8 year old nephew how to multiply.  In short, it might go over your head.

@mentorababio, logically speaking, you could learn from many people for free! If you are willing to pay, are you willing to pay $100 per hour?

Not really. I recommend you join clubs and communicate with FIDE and USCF players. @IMBeacon gave you excellent advice that you can gain 100s of rating points with!

Take your time and experience chess. You will not gain rating points overnight (although it is possible) unless you understand what you are playing and why you are playing it. (Don't memorize theory and facts.)

Chess University is a great club to join. You can also create your own club and invite others.

thank you but I needed a personal tutor... someone that would tutor me on middle game and end games... and lines in certain openings.. I want to be able to have direct conversations with them

Your game is not at the point whee you need to work on middlegames, and openings.

You first need to work on the basics.

This exact game I had as an 1100 in a tournament once against a 1300. (I was white) Now before you go calling him an idiot just remember the poor kid was like 9. Still sort of funny though.

You don't need a Gm

It's actually this plato:

You see, "plato" is spanish for "plate"

No kidding? You know both chess and languages.

I don't know who's the one in the photo. I assume he is some actor or singer and you are part of his fan base?

Just a James Dean casualty

Kinda sorry but Nigeria doesn’t have lots of chess players there, the chance of finding a grandmaster sitting across from you talking to you is even less likely.  Until you get a higher rating then you should ask for grandmaster coaches, if you really want a coach now, start with an expert or fide master online.

See much of an effort to identify another explanation for the purpose of the further comment in post #9?
