The Ruy Lopez makes amateurs look what they are
It gives a Good White player many many easy wins
Any Titled player that plays E4 plays the Ruy Lopez, that is a Must have in the Repertoire

yeah ameteur... i definitely dont play the cozio
An E4 player not playing the Ruy Lopez is like a D4 player that doesnt play the Queens Gambit It just doesnt make sense
You are not an Amateur you 2300 you are a FM Level
You should create an opening repertoire first, then learn the Middlegame ideas and learn how to calculate variations
