I think Speed Chess is garbage.

There is no magic time number that is a dividing line. It depends on who you are. The key is wipe all the pieces off the board in an intense crucial moment. If you are Nakamura or most Masters those guys can remake exactly where each piece was. That means even if it is 2/0 it is chess. For THEM. A typical player who is rated whatever at that parti ular game i dont care. They almost never could remake the position in speed chess. Some might not even be sure where thier own king was hahaha. That means they used chess pieces but were playing clock.

Can kind of help with less one piece blunders and you think farther when More moves come to you subconsciously/instinctively, i guess

Speed chess is useful in many ways for most chess levels. It depends on your purpose in playing speed. But I would not suggest playing speed, especially one-minute chess, for beginners or players who are serious about improving.
