ohh i think i got it borgqueen.let me paraphrase the sentence,i think my paraphrase is ''the important of the island because of its strategic''.like in the movie independece day remember borgqueen?.they strategically position thier space craft and not randomly position right?.so am i right or wrong borgqueen.i wait again to your response.

I did a google search for "california Philippines" and this was the first thing that came up:

My guess is he currently lives in California but he's from the Philippines.

After reading this post I too have an answer.

You can't get there from here.

What if is it the other way round like kurogkug is dreaming about California but living in the Philippines ?

thank you eesbter,i know that already eesbter, but i what is where you can used this formula?.i mean okay the unknown is the voltage okay? and the only given is the coulomb and joule, so i what to find out what is the voltage from point a to point b and where i can used this problem?.note i want to find out what is the voltage from point a to point b and i want to know where i can used this problem.thats why my guess is if i want to make a battery i want to know how many voltage from point a to point b.i wait to your response again eesbter.

Well logically, from my response, if you have a battery that stores 5 C of charge and does 2 J work over its lifetime, its emf will be 10 V, and equivalently, the potential difference between its cathode and anode will be 10 V. So if you want to know the voltage between A and B (where A and B are the cathode and anode), given the charge (5 C) and energy (2 J), you just apply that formula and get 10 V.

happy new year too eesbter, easy for you to say eesbter that the formula is not complecated but for me is hard.yes....yes.....yes can you provide me an example about where can this formula can used?.let me guess 1st where this formula can be used,i think it can be used if you what to make a battery.so let say i want a 10 volts battery so i have to know first how many coulombs are there in an zinc cattode,so if a zinc cattode have a 5 coulombs from reference point then i move it to copper cattode then it will take me 2 joules to move it.and i think it depends how much chemical you will put it in the battery ha?.so am i right or wrong eesbter?.i wait again to your response.

There aren't too many metals around that you can connect to zinc to make it the cathode in a corrosion cell.  In a standard battery, zinc is the anode.

thank you eesbter, but you miss to answer my 1 question.my 1 question is where i can use this formula, let me give you an example.my example is i know that in electrical book if i want to find the voltage i just divide the current to the power and i can get the voltage, for example 20 watts divided by 5 ampere is 4 volts right?,so i can use this formula if i want to know the voltage right?.but in physics book is different because the watts is joule per second right? and the ampere is coulomb per second.now if there is no time where i can use this units?.i mean if the joule has no second and the coulomb too where i can use these units.i mean only joule and coulomb,so where i can use this formula?.i wait again to your response eesbter.

borgqueen you said before after i compare the sentence to a game of chess is that the d4 square is critical and it is importance to the game of chess right?.and i agree with you that it is important like the island in the sentence, but what i dont agree is the d4 is not in strategic.so am i right or wrong,i mean is the d4 is in the strategic or what?.i wait again to your response borgqueen.

taots_11

thank you borgqueen, okay i got it!! so let say that d4 is involved and critical to the plan for the position it becomes ''strategically important'' right borgqueen?,so that means this d4 is like the island in the sentence '' its of strategic importance that we capture this island, because the d4 is involved and critical to the plan of the general for the position of his subordinate right borgqueen?.i wait again to your response borgqueen.

okay eesbter,i know you getting annoying with me.im sorry, but all your response is all right and i appreciated that.okay let me simplfy my question,my question is where i can apply this formula the joule per coulomb.i know how i can apply the watts per ampere but the joule per coulomb is not,so can you give me an example of this joule per coulomb?.i wait again to your respons eebster and i promise after you give me an example of this i will not gonna bother you anymore.

A volt is a joule per coulomb. This is a unit conversion. Frankly, this conversion is only useful for converting from joules per coulomb to volts, or vice-versa. It isn't really a formula. It is similar to: newton = kilogram meter per second squared (N = kg m/s^2) or pascal = newton per meter squared (Pa = N/m^2). They are just used for converting units.

thank you eesbter.

borgqueen i wait to your response.im not gonna bother you too anymore if you will answer my last question.i promise that after you answer my question im gonna change the topic and it will be a question about game in chess.i know that i am not 100 percent reliable now.but i prove it to eesbter that im not gonna bother him again.i hope you will understand my situation,i know that you have a humanitarian attitude of helping some ignorant people like me.

thank you borgqueen, now i can go to some chess game problem for me.my 1st question is ''is the opening in chess game is important to the game of chess or not?.i  used to play the queen gambit decline opening but im still losing the game.i wait again to your response borgqueen.

Well... do you have any good strategies for memorization? I mean, like a way to mentally position the lyrics.
