I can tell you two books that helped me and are very understandable: Chess Made Simple by Milton Hanauer and The Art of the Checkmate by Georges Renaud and Victor Kahn. If you master the contents of the first book, I think it can take you close to 2000-level. Mastering the second book will help you spot many checkmates a mile away and help you set up your own. Both books are well written and teach you the principles. You may know a lot already, especially with the first book. It takes a person who is new to chess and takes them through the theory and practice, step by step. You will also need to master the end game, including basic pawn endings and beyond.

I wish you luck!

ChessMood is the best place for improvement, and whole courses prepared by grandmasters. If you see there are some locked courses, you don't have to buy them. You should become a Pro member it costs only 29$ per month and get them all for free. One of the advantages of Pro members is 1-1 call with grandmasters, so you can ask your questions to them and have a studying plan. The main coach is GM Avetik Grigoryan, a very kind and friendly person. Enjoy!  https://chessmood.com/courses

I am a lot weaker so I will not give you some specific advice, you got a lot of it already from better players. But I see one obvious problem, so I will point it out. You pretty much do not play longer games as far as I can see.

To be better at chess, you need to play slower chess. Speed chess is pretty much another game altogether. Many masters say that even at their level speed chess is hurting their play if they are doing it too much. Many of them recommend that somewhat weaker players should cut down on blitz and bullet to minimum.

So combine advices you've already got from stronger players and practice what you learn in books and whatnot in actual slower games (try to play at least 30 minutes per side games when you can).  All the best with improvement.

Why does it matter which site you play your longer games on? I just saw that and I couldn't figure out what the distinction is between them. I've not used lichess much, so I'm not as familiar with it, not sure if there's something I'm just not aware of here.

EvidentRoad

its just on chess.com i am in a lot of clubs so i get distracted. on lichess i am not so there is less distractions.

Playing in only 3 tournaments won't show your actual strength. As you continuously play more and more, it will establish a solid rating.

lol, ironically your topic is spelled wrong too xD
