Just luck? Bullet’s the same 64 squares and 32 pieces. if you can’t handle the clock, that’s on you. Skill wins it, not luck

Skill plays a role, but so does luck. For instance, I play from a 3rd world country with the world's worst internet and have an instant clock disadvantage against the majority of people playing on this website who get better pings to the server.

Ahem ahem as an "3rd world country" with the "worst internet" guy I get in top 10 if I play 100 games.

The clock is always such an importance piece. The shorter the time, the less the thinking. Since chess is such a mental game, a variant that limits thinking makes it less and less "real chess". I don't play it but I've seen people do it, and sometimes it seems like there is zero thinking and it's just a contest to see who can make the worst moves the fastest.

Sir sir ever heard of 1|1 and if u mistakenly gave ur opponent mate in 1 u lose

I never keep my moves blindly in bullet (except 10 sec)

In bullet, the thing is that, even when your completely down in pieces, you can win with time. Once I had blundered every one of my pieces except a single pawn. And my opponent had 1 queen 1 rook 2 knights and 1 bishop. But he lost on time as I am a very fast player and he was rather a slow one.

Exactly. The clock becomes much more of an important piece than queens, rooks, or knights. Luck becomes a bigger factor, speed becomes a much bigger factor, and strategy and tactics become less and less of a factor.

I can think really fast. So I think even at low times. In three games because of my fastness I got to 3minutes and 9 seconds in a game of bullet in which I was playing 2|1.

That's like a second chance and I love it!

You play it for the same reason everybody else on this website plays it. Pointless addiction, dopamine, adrenaline rush

I think it’s a nice way to challenge yourself, but it’s not good for getting better at chess. No thinking time, just drill knowledge

Tell bullet is not real chess to alireza.

Avatar of JaydenDanielsProGlazer

It is real chess, I just prefer winning with accuracy over speed, so I play rapid and sometimes blitz.
