Well that intrigues me also. So you say : chess is a good way to meet chicks, and 28 years ago you married her, BUT you did not actually play before marriage.. I get it ! You just told her how great a player you were and refused to play her. And she cracked. She had to play you and married you to be given this incredible possibility... Yes, Thetubester, my husband and I are still together
Bronsteinitz, it was his understanding of openings which worked on me 
I moved 200 miles to be with him...no distance really, I know a lady who moved from the UK to the States to marry a man she met on a chess site.
So, you see, gentleman, chess IS very attractive. (I guess it helps that my husband is also ten years younger than me and a triathlete with a very fine physique!)
