In my opinion it's not a sport just a competitive game. Sports have a physical aspect that chess doesn't. Also, like I said it's my opinion, a sport should be focused more on team work than individual play. Yes there's some sports, like Tennis, who goes for individual wins but it has that physical aspect as well.
my ass[1] muscles always got tired in tournaments, also my feet from running out to the shop[2] for crisps[3], mars bars[4] and coca cola[5] between moves, then running to and from the toilet[6] after the cola..
