I think. Having said that, I think playing chess is directly dependent on ones ability to analyze and solve problems. The intelligent quotient (IQ) is a measure ones ability to grasps abstract concepts, quickly or slowly, matters little. The average person with an IQ of say 90 to 110, can play excellent chess, if they have an analytical mind.
Chess is a great game. It is the game of the mind. To be successful in this game you have to be a pure genius like me. The key to achieving god-life status like me is STUDY, STUDY, STUDY.
