less irl cause you notice ur opponent is actually a 3' 2" couch potato that lives to play videogames

I believe OTB tournaments tend to be more difficult.
- People who play OTB tend to be more serious or at least take each game a little more seriously than online players.
- Playing with a physical chess set can be a little more taxing mentally. As Nakamura said, OTB chess is mainly played "in the head". It is simply much easier to see the pieces, diagonals, etc with virtual boards.

True. Quite true.
I always thought it was easier to play chess online until I looked at my tournament scores. It was shocking. On my IRL tournaments, I won just over 60% of my games. However, when I take those same tournaments online, I get less than 40%. So let me ask you: Are games easier online or Face-to-Face?
