i try to draw as much as possible and find draws if my opponent doesnt make an obvious blunder which i did not see. is this abuse? will i ever get banned for this,for not coming with a clear result?

Why in the world would you actively seek draws? Do you like fractions?

i hoped it will not be seen as an abuse or something. i kinda find it like some people having 2 accounts and losing on purpose on one to increase their rating. i know this is a totally different matter

Some chessplayers likes draws. If you like draws you can make as much draws as you can.

Is it alright to draw so much?....The question answers itself doesn't it or would you prefer to lose instead?

@stuzzicadenti

anyway,go giri and go draws grin.png

Drawing on purpose sort of goes against the spirit of competitive chess, but I doubt if anyone would consider it to be abuse or a bannable situation. As long as you realize that you won't be maximizing your rating, I guess nobody else should care.

If GM's can play 9 moves and draw, why cant we :-)
