lol now that MincraftProGamer-1 knows that he/she will lose if he battles with someone more than his/her own points so he is shutting his/her mouth up

Also, hot take, I would argue that if you are 14 and up, until 30, one could possibly become a GM still if their rating is in the 1400-2000 range currently. Would they have to work their butt off everyday? Yes. True, 99% of people have said that it is most likely not going to be the case, but so what? If you actually want to achieve your goal, then do it. When I was a freshman in college, my first assigned advisor told me that medical school was not for me because I did bad in my first chemistry class, I literally laughed at the ridiculousness of his statement. Telling a small town kid that is from a minority community that he has no place in the medical field. I walked out immediately, and found people that actually would support me to meet my goal. Today I have done all my requirements with a good gpa, and am preparing to take the MCAT. When I get accepted to med school, not if, I'll have the last laugh. And you know why I'm sure as heck that I will get in? Because I have decided that I will die trying, because it is my dream, and dreams never die OP. So go get your dream if that is what you truly want, and that's it. Period.
@theitalianstallione ratings doesn't mean anything in a discussion about the road to gm. I'm 2000 blitz and have no idea how norms work, but bunch of 1600s do. Go figure.
Well thas your problem, im underated by 100-150 points, near 2200, you know i kind of have an idea of how it works you know
lets take an example... if we were discussing the corona virus then my rating of 2000 is as good as your 2200 rating.
Same thing here. None of us have been GMs. In response to the OP's question, it is POSSIBLE, but highly unlikely.
one of the biggest deterrents keeping me from studying medical stuff is simply because of the smell. I can't stand it.
i can memorize different spawn seeds in minecraft so probably ya!!
sorry, no...
LOL
to be honest, my least favorite (being nice) opening is anything that starts with d4
so boring
What about Queens Gambit?
nvm forgot about the slav
the slav is dynamic... if white plays the boor attack
the QGA is dynamic
the QGD is boring especially if black wants to draw
@happypi314
no thanks, I'll pass up the Queen's Gambit for the King's Gambit any day LOL
+1
No. not possible. if you're at that level of intelligence it doesn't matter how good you are rn, you're not likely to improve

big roast laul
lol
as Bobby Fischer said, e4 is best by test
maybe i'm just an overly aggressive player who likes weird gambits and what not
I like weird lines.
If you have a brain, you can become a candidate master with good training, goals that are achievable, and discipline. Discipline is the key factor here. Many people spew stuff out of their mouth, dreams, goals, whatever. Do you have the willpower to actually do it. That is what separates the kids from the men and women who become successful.
