Is Lichess better than chess.com?

There are quite a few reasons I would choose chess.com over lichess...also the overall playing experience is just better on chess.com

Each platform has its strengths and appeals to different types of players.

A blitz player on lichess with an elo of 1500, is equivalent to a 700-750 elo player on chess.com. I play both sites. 800-750 difference doesn't make any sense, one of these sites elo rating is nonsense.

There's nothing I've seen on lichess that is superior to what's on chess.com except for the analysis board vs. chess.com's explorer. And that's only because lichess has given us access to all their own sites game data collected over the years, which just makes their site alot more useful for creating a repertoire. If chess.com did that I would never visit lichess. I think it's a foolish business decision for chess.com not to have already done that, since the explorer is one of the main selling points for memberships, seems like an obvious thing to do but I digress.

But otherwise, in most cases, what's on chess.com is just far better than lichess.

Can you name another way that lichess is better? For example... Lichess's cheat detection system does not compare with chess.com's in terms of robustness / sophistication. What about the lichess UI...? It's not as attractive, just a very bland depressing grey, and not as customizable. chess.com's game review function is also much better... chess.com's bot's are better. chess.com produces video content, lichess doesn't produce content it just aggregates existing youtube videos.

I Played on both websites and have peak rating 2700 on both
My opinion is that both are equally challenging but chess.com is more comfortable for playing because of its premove feature in lichess the premove system is a pretty weak.
but I prefer chess.com as the best site because there is every thing needed for a professional chess player

I play on both but chess.com is way better imo. Ranking up on lichess is extremely frustrating as there are SO many cheaters and sandbaggers. It is very obvious, and lichess actually makes it a hassle to even report them. They hardly ever take action. The matchmaking system on lichess is completely whack too. You get black 5 times in a row in rated games, people abort games depending on your opening move with hardly any consequences, etc. 1900-2100 lichess feels impossible due to these limitations. Its just way too easy to be an unethical player on there. Pro tip: if you are matched with a calibrating player on lichess you might as well just abort because if you win you will get like +4 rating, you probably won't win, and when you lose you will get like -15 at least lol.
