Is there an app for a chessboard with no analysis?

I'm playing correspondence chess with a friend, through text. I like having the board set up with the pieces and when I get a move on my phone, I can enter it and then consider my response. But a lot of times, I'm not home when I get a move and so must wait many hours until I can enter the move when I return home.

Is there an app that can be downloaded which has no analysis features and which is just a static board with pieces that one can use to play a game such as in this manner? I know that we could just play the daily game feature here, but for these games, there is a certain allure to actually waiting for the move, and then physically moving it on the board. (Of course, I play daily games here too.)

Well, a chess DB style program should work. Many have analysis features but you have to activate them to use them. So until then, you can use it for notation purposes and game tracking.

Do you have any suggestions for apps for the Android system?

I use SCID on the Go for notation at the club. It works pretty well, though there are some things I don't like about it.

There should be a possibility to turn off the analysis board for both players in correspondence chess. The Chess Time-App offers this important feature and it should be implemented here too.
